Alice Hammond

Kilsyth Cobras DOB: 08 November 1983 Class: 4.5 Position: Forward/Centre Number: 8

A member of the Sandringham Sabres in her junior years, Hammond now plays for the Kilsyth Cobras in the WNWBL, listing one of her career highlights as a championship in that league in 2015.

In early 2016, Hammond was named to the Gliders team for the Osaka Cup, one of two debutantes. Her pure shooting stroke and effort all over the court exemplified the type of player that coach Tom Kyle was looking to fill his side with and Hammond did not disappoint in the tournament, coming off the bench to help Australia win a bronze medal.

She names Gliders team mate Shelley Chaplin as her sporting hero and currently works as a public servant.
